Can i upgrade my Netbook?

Most Netbooks can be purchased in either 512MB or 1GB Memory configurations. These can often be upgraded with inexpensive notebook memory, designed to improve productivity and make the netbook perform better whilst running multiple applications. PCWB recommends professional Installation and Configuration on most Netbooks to add memory. Please call 0844 12 11 10  to discuss your specific requirements.

Do you need to access files on a CD or DVD-ROM on your Netbook?

There are various ways to accomplish this; If you have a spare computer/laptop with an optical drive it should be possible to copy any data across to that terminal first and then share the files wirelessly to the Netbook, or connect via Ethernet/LAN for even faster transfer speeds.

If you need to frequently access CD or DVD's or install multiple aplications from disc, it may be worth investing in a Portable External DVD-RW, such as the low cost Liteon DVD-RW, or the  Amacom Slimline.

Alternatively, USB Flash Storage devices can be used to quickly and easily Backup, and Transfer data from one machine to another.
